Your move-in date, chosen properly — every chart in the house, the hour, and the reasons.

Not an almanac printout. Master Yuan selects your date by hand: the almanac layer first, then each chart's useful god, the hour you cross the threshold, and the direction — cross-checked against everyone moving in. You'll know not just which date, but why.

Moving house is the most common reason people write in

Getting the keys starts a clock. The lease or completion date is fixed, the movers need booking, the renovation has a queue — and somewhere in that fortnight you have to pick a day to actually cross the threshold. That is the decision this service exists for, and it is where the almanac and real life collide hardest.

A move is also rarely one person's decision. The date has to work for everyone sleeping under that roof, which is where a free tool stops being enough.

Weddings, business openings, renovation start dates and contract signings are selected the same way — the method below doesn't change. Moving house is simply what most people come for.

Why a personal 择日 when the free tool exists?

The free date checker computes the almanac layer honestly and checks one chart for clashes. Use it — it will genuinely tell you whether the date your agent offered is workable for you. But three things can't be automated responsibly:

Every chart in the household, at once. A move is checked against everyone living there — not just whoever typed their birthday into the tool. Each additional person adds constraints, and a date that supports you can clash your spouse or your mother. At that point the answer stops being a score and becomes a judgment between competing trade-offs. That is the work a practitioner does and a tool shouldn't pretend to.

The useful god 用神. The tool's element check is a light approximation. A proper selection aligns the date's elements with what each chart actually needs — which requires reading the chart's strength and structure, not just its Day Master.

The hour and the direction. The almanac rates days; moves happen at hours, in places. Hour selection and checking the property's direction against the year's Tai Sui are part of every selection Master Yuan delivers. For a move-in, the hour matters as much as the day — the owner crosses the threshold first, before the movers arrive.

When your window falls in the seventh month

This is the hardest case, and it comes up often — completion dates don't consult the lunar calendar.

If your only available window overlaps the lunar 7th month and you would rather not move then, say so at the start. The honest position is this: the seventh month narrows the field considerably, and in a tight window there may be only one or two workable days left. Master Yuan will tell you plainly how many there are before you commit to anything, rather than discovering it halfway through.

If the seventh month doesn't trouble you — and for many people it genuinely doesn't — the almanac assessment stands on its own and the field opens back up. Nothing is imposed. What you believe about the seventh month is your call; what the almanac says about each date is Master Yuan's.

What you receive

  • Two proposed dates, each with the auspicious hour selected

  • A plain-language explanation of why each date works — the officer of the day, the elemental fit with the charts involved, what was avoided and why — delivered over WhatsApp

  • The 入宅 sequence for move-ins: who crosses first, when, and what to carry

  • One round of adjustment if a proposed date doesn't work logistically (movers, handover, family schedules)

Dates are selected for Singapore time and calendar realities: weekends, public holidays, and the lunar 7th month where relevant.

Fee

S$180 per event.

Every chart in your household is included, however many — you are not charged per person. Moving in and moving your altar are part of the same move, not two events.

A separate event means a separate occasion: a wedding banquet and a house move are two. Payment by PayNow. If you've already had a Bazi consultation with Master Yuan, your chart notes carry over — say so when you write in.

What's not offered

Birth-date selection for planned deliveries is not a service Bazi.sg provides, in any form.

How it works

‍ ‍

  1. WhatsApp your event and constraints — what you're doing, your window (e.g. "moving in, keys 12 March, must be within three weeks"), whether the seventh month is acceptable, and the birth dates (with birth times if known) of everyone involved.

  2. Master Yuan selects and explains — two dates with hours and reasons in plain language, typically within 3 working days.

  3. One adjustment round — if logistics rule a date out, the search continues within your window.

A note on method

The selection starts from the same classical layer the free checker computes — the Twelve Day Officers 建除十二神, clash days 月破/岁破, the special days of the almanac — then goes where tools can't: elemental alignment with each chart's useful god, hour selection, and the property's direction against the Tai Sui. Nothing is a black box; every date comes with its reasons. The free checker will happily show you why a date you're holding scores the way it does.
